This week I posed my "If I Dropped By..." question to Joe Salgo from the Brooklyn based band Of Clocks And Clouds. They've been busy working on new music which we hope to hear very soon. Continue reading to see what I found out during my hypothetical visit to his home.
Quirky NY Chick (QNYC): ... and brought a friend who didn't know your music, what song of yours would you play for them and why?

(QNYC): ... what song or album would you feel I needed to hear before I left?
(JS): Quintessential album? Hmmm so many (not ours we're assuming). Probably The Soft Bulletin by The Flaming Lips. Wayne and Steven are our heroes and living legends. The songwriting and recording techniques on that album are incredible. Check out the song "Feeling Yourself Disintegrate" psychedelic goodness...
(QNYC): ... would you proudly display the cheesy music in your collection or pretend someone left it by mistake?
(JS): Cheesy music? No shame here. Every now and then the Britney Spears song "Toxic" comes up on shuffle and it’s rarely skipped. We want to do a metal version of that one day for fun...
(QNYC): … Kung Fu Fighting, Disco Duck or Macho Man
(JS): We're kung foo duck. We order that every time we get Chinese.
(QNYC): … sushi or Mexican?
(JS): Mexican Sushi have you had it? Neither have we. But fortunately we live in a world where that can happen. Think wasabi raw tuna tacos with Pico de Gallo. Mmmmmm (Editor’s note: No, we haven't but, we love our Pico de Gallo ... almost as much as margaritas.)
(QNYC): ... what's one thing you must have in your refrigerator at all times?
(JS): If there's only one thing in the fridge hopefully it's an ice cold beer. Makes a great breakfast. Cheers.
